William "Billyjack" Ebersole

William “Billyjack” Ebersole, 64, of Houston, Texas, passed away on July 4, 2026. He was born on January 17, 1962, in Rockledge, Florida, the son of Raymond and Gloria Ebersole.

Billyjack was preceded in death by his father Ray Ebersole. He is lovingly survived by his mother, Gloria Ebersole; his daughter, Rae Sunshine West and her husband, Jakob; and his cherished grandchildren, Rebekah, Gabriella, and Amelia West. He is also survived by his sister, Cindy Read, and her husband, Jeffrey; his brother, Ronnie Ebersole, and his wife, Lynne; his brother, Mack Ebersole; and his half-brother, Donald Lowe, and his wife, Joyce. Billyjack is further survived by his niece and nephews, Dawn Cryns, Brandon Ebersole, Chris Ebersole, and Jonathan Ebersole, along with many extended family members and dear friends who will forever treasure his memory.

Billyjack lived life with a big heart and a spirit that touched everyone around him. For more than 40 years, he shared his love of music as a DJ, bringing joy and energy to countless events and making people smile and dance. He was also deeply passionate about tennis, both as a player and as a coach for many years. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his Batman motorcycle and playing poker with his friends, but above all, he will be remembered for the happiness, laughter, and warmth he brought into the lives of others.

A service celebrating Billyjack’s life will be held on Saturday, August 1st, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Shirley Acres, 217 Woerner Rd, Houston, TX 77090.
