Roger Wayne Garner

Roger Wayne Garner (“Boozzer”),55, passed away on April 1, 2022, in Houston, Texas surrounded by his loving family.  Roger was born in Houston, Texas on May 25, 1966, to Maryann and Henry Odell Garner. Roger attended and graduated from New Caney High School in 1986.  He went on to work as a Supervisor at Best Swivel Joints over 20 years and Quality Inspector of Houston Pipe Benders until he became ill. He had a zest for life and enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping, hike, and white-water rafting. Roger was a big fan of the Houston Astros baseball team and Houston Texans football team. He never met a stranger and was always willing to lend a hand. Roger is survived by his wife, Gail Garner, sons, Justin Garner and wife Shauna, Cody Garner and wife Candace and Dillon Garner, stepchildren, Toni Winterbauer and husband Tray and Ian Quiroga, 8 grandchildren, brothers, Dale Garner, Keith Garner and wife Lenda, Gary Garner and wife, Jessica, and Adam Garner, sister, Sheila Garner and wife, Lisa. Roger will be deeply missed and forever loved. As a tribute to Roger, the family extends an invitation to wear your favorite sports team shirt!
