James Norman Perkins, 80, of Conroe, Texas passed away on August 3, 2018 in The Woodlands, Texas. He was born on September 5, 1937 to James Luther Perkins and Lela Arnold Perkins in Monahans, Texas. James married Patricia Bradley on March 7, 1959 in Odessa, Texas. He was a small business owner for 38 years. James served in the US Army from August 10, 1961 until August 9, 1967. James is survived by his wife of 59 years, Patricia Perkins; children, Cheri & Paul Hinds and Jim and Kerri Perkins; grandchildren, Meredith and Justin Nguyen, Nathan Hinds, Makaylee Hinds, and Jordan Perkins; and his sister, Pat Ainsworth.
