Naomi Carlene Mize

Naomi Carlene Mize graduated from earth December 23, 2019 just in time to celebrate Christmas with Jesus, her Lord and Savior, and her loving parents, Louis Troyce Mize and Nona Marie Mize, who preceded her in death and who she missed every single day.  Carlene was born December 9, 1947 in Madisonville, TX and was a long time resident of the greater Houston area. Carlene was known by many different labels, Carlene, Carl, and Aunt Lene to name a few but her favorite labels were mom and Nana.  She loved her children and grandchildren fiercely and spent most of her life serving and spoiling each of them.  Her fun-loving spirit and willingness to do anything to bring a smile and laughter to others will be missed by all. Carlene leaves to cherish her loving memory her three children Marshall (Buddy) Roach III and fiancé Elizabeth Young, Ginger Sanders and husband David Sanders, Gene Acly and fiancé Danni Moss; her grandchildren Dylan Sanders and Tyler Sanders; her siblings Gloria Mayes and her husband Virgil Mayes, Norma Bowers and her husband John Bowers, and Louis Mize and his wife Jimmie Mize along with many nieces and nephews and their children that she loved so dearly. A memorial service will be held Saturday, December 28 at 11:00 at First Montgomery Baptist Church 20423 Eva Street, Montgomery, TX 77356.
