Michael Todd Todaro

Michael (Mike) Todd Todaro, 61, passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023.  He was born in Alton, IL on February 27 to parents Ben and Patsy Todaro.

 

He was proceeded in death by his parents and grandparents.

 

Mike is survived by his wife, Ilse, a daughter, Katherine Jackson (Doug) and two grandchildren, Douglas and Kendall, his siblings, Sheri Hellmuth (Mark) of Troy, IL , Mark Todaro (Lee) of Temple, TX, Lisa Hockenberry (Andy) of Wentzville, MO and Stacy Todaro of Bethalto, IL and many nieces and nephews.

 

Mike proudly served his country in the United States Army from 1981 - 1985, where he trained to be a combat medic.  After leaving the Army, he received his certified Master Electrician License.  

 

Mike worked at Carpenter in Temple, Texas for 25 years as a Maintenance Manager and finished his professional career at Harris Health Systems as an Operations Manager in Facilities Engineering.

 

He enjoyed many passions including building and racing hot rods and fishing; but most of all spending time with his family, whom he loved deeply.

 

Mike was a humble man who always put others before himself.  He will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
