Mark Garrett

Mark Thomas Garrett, beloved son, brother, and uncle, passed away peacefully on March 5, 2026, in Magnolia, Texas. Mark was born on August 3, 1968. He grew up in Conroe, Texas, with his parents, Jack and Laverne Garrett, and his sisters. He lived, went to school, and worked his career in Conroe.

He lived his life with hard work, fierce independence, and a gentle sense of humor. He found guidance and comfort in his strong religious faith that never wavered.

He is remembered by family and friends for his strong faith and integrity. He is remembered with love for his loyalty and his gift for storytelling, jokes, and poetry.

Mark is preceded in death by his parents, Jack Garrett and Laverne Garrett, and his sister, Sharan Garrett. He is survived by his sisters, Karan Jackson, Tammi Vela, and Tisch Parks, as well as his nieces and nephews.

We will hold him in our hearts always. May he rest in peace.
