John M. Heinz

John Michael Dwight Heinz, 79, passed away peacefully at home on November 22, 2025 in Magnolia, Texas. He was surrounded by Claudia, his wife of 55 years, daughter Stephanie Green, son John William Heinz and son-in-law Jonathan Green. He also left behind his loving sisters, Donna Jean, Brenda Lee and Deborah Ann and many nieces and nephews. John was born September 23, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois to John William Heinz and Mary Louise (Cerone) Heinz. Known lovingly as Jack or Jackie to his family, in his business world he was John. He was a Wireless Engineer, holding over 100 related patents, and many of present day mobile network designs and technology can be traced back to the work he and his colleagues pioneered in the early days of wireless. He loved to build trains sets, science fiction and history as well as old movies and TV shows. But most of all, he loved his family. He will be dearly missed.
