Jeffrey Kyle Smith

September 29, 1964 — July 15, 2023

Jeffrey Kyle Smith, a beloved son, brother, friend, and adventurer, passed away unexpectedly on July 15, 2023, in Spring, Texas. Born on September 29, 1964, in Mesquite, Texas to Irma and Jimmy Smith, Jeff led a remarkable life that touched the hearts of all who knew him.

From an early age, Jeff's charismatic personality attracted people towards him. His caring nature found joy in helping others, taking great pleasure in lending a helping hand whenever someone was in need. But there was one thing that truly set his soul ablaze - riding his beloved Harley Davidson. The wind blowing through his hair and the rumble of the engine would bring out an infectious smile that lit up his face.

Jeff's passion for fishing was another avenue where he found solace and peace. Spending countless hours by the water's edge allowed him to reconnect with nature and reflect upon life's many wonders. It was during these fishing trips that he forged everlasting memories and nurtured deep bonds with those fortunate enough to accompany him on these adventures.

Throughout his life journey, a faithful companion stood by Jeff's side - his loyal dog Jack. For fifteen incredible years, Jack brought immeasurable joy and unwavering companionship to Jeff's life. They were inseparable partners-in-crime who explored the world together, forming an unbreakable bond that will forever live on in Jeff's heart.

Jeffrey Kyle Smith will always be remembered for his compassion and selflessness. His infectious laughter and vibrant spirit could brighten even the darkest of days. No matter the circumstance or situation, Jeff always aimed to uplift those around him with words of encouragement and genuine kindness.

A celebration of Jeff's life would be incomplete without acknowledging his surviving family and friends who cherished him deeply. He is survived by his mother Irma Kimbrell and Ronald Kimbrell of Hillsboro, Texas - two pillars of strength who provided unwavering support throughout his journey. His sister Cheryn Smith-Jackson, uncle Elias and Drucilla Salinas, and his best friend Julio and his family were constants in his life, providing love and companionship through every high and low.

Jeff's wide circle of cousins, loving friends, and "The Special Riders of the Night," a group that shared his passion for motorcycles, will forever preserve his memory. Together, they formed a tight-knit community that embraced the freedom of the open road while cherishing each other's camaraderie.

As we bid farewell to Jeffrey Kyle Smith, we remember him not with tears of sadness but with the joy he brought into our lives. May his spirit soar above us on the winds he cherished so dearly. As he rides off into eternity, may God embrace him with open arms, bringing peace to his restless soul.

In honor of Jeff's memory, let us take a moment to reflect upon the beauty of life and strive to make a positive impact in the world, just as he did. Though we mourn his passing, let us also celebrate the remarkable existence he led, forever etched in our hearts. Rest in peace, dear Jeff. Your light will forever shine brightly upon us all.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on August 5, 2023 at 6:00 pm at Vida Catholic Church, 1300 W Mt Houston Rd., Houston, Texas 77038.
