Don, 79 years of age went to be with his Lord Friday, May 24, 2019 at St. Luke’s Hospital. Don suffered complications following a quadruple heart bypass. Don was born December 12, 1939 in his home in Leesville, Texas to the late Clate and Hattie Harden. Don was the youngest of 15 children: Lillian Louisa Harbuck*, Nany Beatrice (Bea) Simsen*, Joyce Elder Davidson*, Clate Samuel Harden, Jr*, Bertha Mae Rogers*, Beulah Gay (Teeny) Gunter*, Jesse Delma Harden* and wife Nena, Doris Alene Lohse, Amos Harold and wife Imogene Harden, Joseph Erwin Harden* and wife Edith, Velma Marie and Charles Brown, Billy Alvin Harden* and wife Eunice, Frances Darlene and Thomas Royal, and Shirley Fontaine Bohanan. Don is survived by his wife, Connie Kay (Meswarb) Harden. Don has three children from a previous marriage: Donald (Chip) Everett Harden, Jr. and wife Chris; Tami Elaine and husband Steve Dirigo; and Dana Lynn and Eric Smith; and two stepdaughters: Marthel Lescinda and Juan Cano; Easter Ann Marie and Darin Cooley. Don’s grandchildren include Jared Everett Harden, Chelsea Harden; Leslie Erin, Sidney Elise, and Stephen (Tad) Dirigo; Morgan (Sam) Samuel, Shannon Victoria, and Allison Rebecca Smith; and Chase Lane McDugle and Tiffany Ann Marie Berggren; and Ryan Gene Cooley. Don’s Great-grandchildren include Peyton and Emma Harden; and Ellamay Berggren and sister on the way. Don has numerous nieces and nephews, friends and brothers and sisters in the Lord. Don made a profession of faith at Memorial Baptist Church where he met Connie. Visitation will be held Friday, May 31, 2019 at Memorial Baptist Church, 22333 Kuykendahl Rd., Spring, Texas 77379, from 7:00 pm until 9:00 pm and Saturday, June 1, 2019 a visitation will begin at 10:00 am and will follow with funeral services to begin at  11:00 am. Graveside service will be held  at 3:00 pm, Saturday June 1, 2019, in Brookside Memorial Park, 13747 Eastex Frwy, Houston, Texas 77039.
