Craig Steven Williams

Craig Steven Williams, born on August 7, 1959, in Berwyn, Illinois, left our world unexpectedly on February 16, 2026, in Magnolia, Texas. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Jackie Williams, and a proud father to his children, Zachary Johnson and Jennifer Baugh. Craig brought joy to the lives of those around him and was a cherished brother to Valerie Onley and Brad Williams.

As the co-owner of E&C Machine Shop, Craig dedicated his career to his passions, embodying the spirit of hard work and entrepreneurship. Yet, it was not just in his profession that he thrived; Craig found immense joy in life’s simple pleasures. He enjoyed being with his family, especially at the beach or on the lake.

Craig's laughter and kindness were legendary; he had a unique ability to make others feel loved and appreciated. His grandchildren were the lucky recipients of his immense affection, as he took great delight in their laughter, making memories that will last a lifetime. He poured his energy into each family gathering, hoping that no event would ever end too soon. His warm spirit and jovial disposition will forever resonate in the hearts of those who knew him.

With hobbies ranging from fishing and hunting to swimming and grilling, Craig was a man of many talents. He could often be found fishing the lakes and then enthusiastically preparing for fish fries with his daughter for family and friends to enjoy. He was a man of many skills, constantly working on new projects and repairing everything himself. He was the go-to person for anyone that needed help.

Craig's personality was a blend of humor, warmth, and love. He was not just a kind friend; he was the best husband, father, "poppy", son-in-law and brother-in-law who embraced life fully, always wearing a smile and ready to have fun.

Craig is survived by his wife Jackie; son Zachary Johnson, wife Amanda and grandchildren Caleb and Kayleigh; daughter Jennifer Baugh, husband Ray and grandchildren Bowman and Duncan. He is also survived by his brother Bradley Williams and wife Betty, and his sister Valerie Onley, plus many nieces, nephews and extended family. Craig is preceded in death by his beloved mother Doris Alcorn, his father Norman Williams, and other beloved extended family.

A Celebration of Life to honor Craig will be held at 10:00 am on March 19, 2026, at Balmorhea Events in Magnolia, Texas, where family and friends can gather to share stories, celebrate his remarkable life, and cherish the precious memories he gifted to everyone.

Craig Steven Williams will be deeply missed, yet his legacy of love and joy will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends. Rest in peace, dear Craig.
