Anita Becerra Salinas

Jan 22, 1930 — Oct 26, 2026

Magnolia, Texas

Anita Becerra Salinas, born January 22, 1930, in Houston, Texas, passed away on October 26, 2026, in The Woodlands, Texas, at the age of 96. Anita was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Ernest Salinas, with whom she shared 66 years of marriage. Together, they built a life centered on love and family, creating memories that continue to live on through the generations.

Anita lived a life marked by warmth, generosity, and steady devotion to others. A devout Christian, Anita trusted in the Lord with all her heart. Her faith guided her life and was reflected in the love, compassion, and generosity she shared with others. She had a servant’s heart and was known for her compassion, always looking for ways to help those around her. Rarely sitting still for long, she carried an active spirit throughout her years, meeting life with kindness, purpose, and enduring strength.

She found joy in simple and beautiful things. Anita loved tending to her plants and garden, bringing beauty to everything she grew. Her green thumb was evident in the flowers and color that filled her yard, a reflection of the love and attention she gave so freely. She also enjoyed cooking for others, expressing her affection through the meals she prepared and shared. Her home was a welcoming gathering place for family and friends, and the time spent there created memories that will be held close for years to come. She loved capturing memories through photographs and was often the one behind the camera, preserving moments of togetherness and joy.

Anita is lovingly survived by her daughter, Eloise Hunt; her brothers, Frank Becerra and William Becerra; her sister, Victoria Rivera; and her grandchildren, Lisa Spisak and Thomas Miles, her seven great grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren. Each of them carries forward the memory of her love, her generosity, and the steady presence she brought into their lives.
